WAYNE HISTORICAL MUSEUM
August 26th, 2023     Wayne, Michigan

Built in 1878 as a center for township business, the building had a jail cell on the 1st floor. Later, a firehouse was included. The jail cell was moved to the basement eventually. The building was designated a museum in 1964, and opened to the public in 1965. It includes hundreds of artifacts collected from the Wayne area, and has 2 civil war cannons placed outside in front.

The current director reports hearing footsteps of unknown origin, coughing and having a general creepy feeling inside the building at times.
