PROSPECT PLACE

TRINWAY, OHIO 2010

Prospect Place was a station on the underground railroad and was used to help escaped slaves to freedom. It was built in 1856. The slaves would be guided into a field near the house, and one of the house staff would go up into the cupola with a lit lantern when it was safe to come inside. The cellar is divided into several small rooms to serve as quarters for slave families whilst there. The cupola and cellar are very active paranormally, as is the barn in the back yard, which is said to have been where a man was hanged. The Ballroom on the 3rd floor was particularly active, as one of us was clawed during an EVP session. We rented Prospect Place for a weekend investigation and captured a great deal of evidence.
