PENTWATER CEMETERY
PENTWATER, MICHIGAN 2003
Founded in 1870, this cemetery contains the graves of many veterans from the area, including many from the civil war. It spans about 20 acres. Located just outside of the village proper, the land is very hilly and wooded. Judging by looks only, the cemetery could very well be featured in an old horror movie (meaning no disrespect). We were given permission to be there after dark by the town council, a rare occurrence.
