OWOSSO

The town of Owosso has many interesting & historic sites. . We found three in particular to be paranormally active: Dedic's Bar, A local cemetery , and Curwood Castle.

Dedic's Bar started operating in the 1920's. Before that it was a gas station. Staff members have had many strange experiences, including being touched by unseen hands, hearing furniture being moved when no one was present, hearing unfamiliar voices, and seeing shadow people. While there, we had equipment malfunctions galore. We captured shadow people and recorded evp there.

The Cemetery held some surprises. Shadow people, large spots of extreme cold, and definite spirit interactions.

Curwood Castle was built in 1922 by James Oliver Curwood; a writer. It is thought to be a replica of a gatehouse to a castle in France. The building was completed only four years before Mr. Curwood's death. During out time there, we felt cold spots in the stairwell and basement. A few of us began having numbness in hands and arms. Inside the house was very warm, but the tower measured 98F - far hotter than it should have.

DEDI'CS BAR

WOW! WHAT A FRIENDLY GROUP OF FOLKS WE MET AT THIS PLACE, JUST 6 MILES OUTSIDE OF TOWN. AS TOLD TO US BY SEVERAL EMPLOYEES, THE BAR HAS A HISTORY-BOTH NORMAL & PARANORMAL. IT WAS A GAS STATION BACK IN THE 1920'S & 1930'S, THEN BECAME A BAR LATER ON AFTER PROHIBITION DAYS. IT WAS RUN BY FRANK DEDIC. HE PASSED AWAY IN THE LATE 1960'S, AND IS SAID TO STILL REMAIN IN HIS BELOVED BUSINESS. THE CURRENT OWNERS, DICK & SHARON DEDIC, HAVE FELT "UNCLE FRANK'S" PRESENCE OFTEN, ALONG WITH HEARING STRANGE SOUNDS INSIDE THE BAR, ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT. SABRINA, ANOTHER EMPLOYEE, THOUGHT SHE WAS FOLLOWED UP THE BASEMENT STAIRWAY ON NIGHT. KELLIE, WHO WORKS AT THE BAR ALSO, SAW A SHADOW FIGURE THE SIZE & SHAPE OF A LARGE MAN SOON AFTER THE LIGHTS IN THE BASEMENT FLICKERED REPEATEDLY. BOTH THE OWNER, AND YET ANOTHER EMPLOYEE: JEANIE, HEARD HER NAME CALLED OUT IN A MAN'S VOICE-LOUD & CLEAR. OF COURSE, WHEN THEY LOOKED AROUND TO SEE WHO SAID IT NO ONE WAS THERE. OTHER ODD INSTANCES HAVE OCCURRED INSIDE THE BUILDING AS WELL, SUCH AS PEOPLE BEING TOUCHED, THE SOUND OF TABLES BEING MOVED, AND DOORS SLAMMING SHUT. UNEXPLAINED ACTIVITY HAS BEEN GOING ON IN DEDIC'S BAR FOR MANY YEARS. WE WENT TO SEE WHAT WE COULD FIND...
